Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a professional CDL A Truck Driver to operate a tractor/trailer and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, ensuring safety and compliance with FMCSA regulations while transporting freight.

Driver will handle loading/unloading responsibilities, maintain required records, and follow hazardous materials handling procedures, delivering courteous service to customers across diverse routes and environments.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• 21 years of age or older per FMCSA regulations.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center or work assignment.
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required (LCV requirements may apply).
• Must be able to drive a tractor trailer for FMCSA-compliant hours.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment and perform safety functions on various terrains.
• Drive tractor/trailer in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain records required by local, state and federal regulations.
• Comply with safety rules for handling hazardous materials.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report maintenance issues and verify paperwork against unit numbers.
• May use in-cab technology (electronic logs).
• Provide professional service to customers and assist with loading/unloading freight.
