Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Represents the BWC Administrator at all levels of Industrial Commission hearings.
• Prepares for hearings by reviewing claim files and analyzing legal issues.
• Interprets laws, rules and regulations, advances legal arguments, examines witnesses and presents evidence at IC hearings.
• Reviews hearing notices and IC decisions, interprets orders and decides whether to appeal.
• Provides legal advice and consultation to service offices, focusing on claims determinations and risk matters.
