Job summary

EFCO Corp. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Clerk to verify, document, and organize incoming and outgoing shipments to support EFCO’s warehouse, production, and customer delivery operations.

The role emphasizes loading/unloading, palletizing, packing, labeling, and following documentation procedures, with attention to detail. This 100% onsite position requires adherence to safety and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience preferred.
• Familiarity with packing, labeling, and shipping documentation; strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and containers, inspecting parts upon receipt and before shipment to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Count, stack, bundle, band, palletize, and transport parts between stock and loading docks using material-handling equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble parts as required.
• Follow corporate double-count procedures for inbound and outbound equipment to ensure accurate counts and proper documentation.
• Coordinate with other plant areas to confirm parts are in process and available as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; keep pallets, shelves, and staging zones orderly and labeled.
• Ensure tools and material-handling equipment are kept in good condition and returned to storage after use.
