Job summary

Mars Incorporated seeks a Veterinary District Sales Manager for Columbus, OH, focusing on the Royal Canin Veterinary BU. The role is field-based, requiring residence within the territory and frequent travel.

You will translate clinic data into sales opportunities, develop territory plans, and build strong clinic relationships to drive KPI achievement. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of sales experience (preferably B2B), veterinary clinic background, and excellent communication and presentation

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs and growing clinics.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography; deliver data-driven presentations.
• Develop strong cross-functional relationships with BU & organization; balance needs of stakeholders.
• Build partnerships and work collaboratively to meet shared objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and adjust strategies based on needs to maximize territory performance.
• Manage expense and sales budget; complete CRM call reports and presentations timely and accurately.
