Job summary

ARC | RIOT is seeking a Color Print Production Operator in San Francisco to join a fast-paced print team focused on high-quality color reproduction. You'll support meeting deadlines while following the mission to do the job right the first time.

The role requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with Adobe CC, RIP/Fiery systems, and finishing equipment. Lifting up to 50 lbs and team communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associates of Arts Degree focusing on Graphic/Production Design and/or 2+ years' equivalent experience in the color reprographics field using design and file/print editing software.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize orders based on customer needs, workload, media, finishing, bindery, and machine capabilities.
• Estimate time and media requirements; inform production manager or client of unmet requests and offer solutions.
• Receive, process, and modify client files to print per specifications.
• Suggest media, substrate, bindery, and other finishing options.
• Operate and maintain printers, bindery and finishing equipment.
• Maintain inventory of media, substrate, ink, toner, bindery, and finishing supplies.
• QC printed and finished materials to uphold quality standards.
• Communicate with customers via email and phone to provide excellent service.
• Package completed projects for Will-Call, Delivery, or Shipping.
• Organize workspace to boost productivity; work overtime as needed.
• Assist in other departments and answer calls as needed.

Education
