Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Saint Joseph, MI is seeking a Color Development Engineer (Associate, Engineering) for an onsite role at the St. Joseph Tech Center.

You will coordinate and implement color projects across Make and OEM, leading developments and providing technical support to stakeholders. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Technology and 3+ months of engineering experience, with preferred credentials in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Technology.
• 3+ months of Engineering experience ( internships, co-ops, or lab work acceptable).
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Material Science.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new color projects for KASA portfolio.
• Lead development of new powder paint colors with Manufacturing, Design and Suppliers.
• Develop and execute color test plans with internal and external labs.
• Deliver PPAP and GPA for new powder paints.
• Identify and drive quality and cost improvements with Greenville Paint team.
• Coordinate color strategy alignment while managing part number complexity.
