Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a manufacturing associate to operate pigment production lines, support extrusion, and prepare resins for blending. You will follow safety standards and maintain clean, orderly work areas while meeting production targets.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 50 lb, climb ladders, and work in extreme temps. You will collaborate with the team and communicate via radio within a busy facility.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly (about 15 times per 8-hour shift).
  • Ability to work independently in potentially isolated areas.
  • Color vision within normal limits (Ishihara).
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment.
  • Ability to work at heights with/without fall protection.
  • Able to climb ladders safely at least 5 times per day.
  • Verbal communication sufficient to use radios/paging to contact coworkers.
  • Able to work in extreme heat/cold.
  • Able to use both hands for tool/part manipulation.
  • Visual acuity 20/50 and reading ability at distance.

Responsibilities

  • Make pigment daily for production needs.
  • Prepare pigment for large orders as required.
  • Handle extrusion tasks to process materials.
  • Bring resin or concentrate needed for blending.
  • Blow resin to prevent material from grounding or draining issues.
  • Ensure lines outside fence are capped and locked when not in use.

High school diploma / GED equivalent.2. Ability to lift 50 pounds at a minimum of approximately 15 times per 8-hour day.3. Ability to work independently in a potentially isolated area of the building.4. Color vision within normal limits (according to Ishihara Screen)5. Ability to work in a dusty environment.6. Ability to work at heights (with or without fall protection). Must not be at risk of sudden alterations in consciousness.7. Able to climb ladders safely and without assistance for a minimum of 5 times per day8. Verbal communication adequate to use a radio and or paging system to connect other co-workers in other areas of the complex.9. Able to work in extremes of heat/cold.10. Able to use both hands for effective manipulation of tools/parts.11. Visual acuity of at least 20/50 for distance (corrected or uncorrected) and a minimal near vision ability to read 10-12 point font at a distance 12-18 inches12.
