Job summary

Amcor LLC in Evansville, IN seeks a production associate to ensure correct materials are fed to machines, manage scrap and resin usage, and maintain color accuracy on production lines.

You will monitor inventories, perform color changes, label outputs, and ensure adherence to Food Safety and cGMP policies while supporting a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to anticipate machine needs and develop a routine.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic mechanical understanding.
  • Comprehension of central resin system.

Responsibilities

  • Supply color and resin to assigned machines.
  • Maintain grinders and grinders' operation.
  • Grind or dispose of scrap as needed.
  • Operate machines during operator breaks.
  • Perform color changes on assigned machines.
  • Create production labels and scan outputs.
  • Maintain the resin silo board and color chips.
  • Check color chips for color match against standards.
  • Manage material scrap and regrind usage.
  • Report scrap in detail for tracking and accountability.
  • Follow Food Safety and cGMP policies in all tasks.
