Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Minnesota is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign frames, and restore interiors and glass while upholding our standards of speed, quality, and customer service.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, plus a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass or interior parts as needed.
• Weld, panel, and repaint vehicles to factory specifications or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality and safety.
