Gerber Collision & Glass in Minnesota is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair, alignment, refinish, and parts replacement. You will work with a team to uphold speed, quality, and customer excellence while meeting KPIs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and/or technical training, with proficiency in tools and a strong understanding of repair methods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan execution and KPIs.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields as needed.
• Replace or repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
