Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through precise inspection and repair of vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble components while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence.

The role requires high school completion or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders.
• Strong understanding of body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates using shop tools.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles with precision.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass, and repair interior parts.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
• Coordinate with teammates to meet KPIs.
• Maintain shop safety and cleanliness.
