Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to join our Atlanta-area team. The role requires 2-3 years of collision repair experience and a valid driver's license. You will assess damage, follow repair plans, and restore vehicles to industry standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of collision repair experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicles to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage and prepare a 100% Repair Plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure: follow work order for all operations listed.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic windows, and seat operating equipment to access damaged area.
• Repair body through hammering, filling, and welding; ensure gaps and fits meet industry standards; reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, grinders, cutters, sander, spray guns, etc.).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before turning vehicle over to Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures, safety rules, and guidelines.
