Job summary

Classic Collision, established in Georgia, seeks a skilled Collision Repair Technician to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles. You will follow work orders, identify repairs to prevent supplements, and optimize repair time while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 2–3 years of collision repair experience, an active driver's license, and a customer-focused, team-oriented mindset. ASE or I-CAR certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage and planning repairs.
• Identify repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure following the work order for all operations.
• Gain access to damaged area by removing upholstery and related parts.
• Repair or replace damaged body parts and weld as needed, ensuring proper fit.
• Operate hand and power tools and follow safety protocols.
• Prepare surfaces by filing, grinding, and sanding before painting.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to procedures.
