Job summary

Classic Collision, established in 1983 in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a dedicated Collision Repair Technician to join our growing team. We repair vehicles with integrity and safety, delivering quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age required.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle to assist estimators in preparing a 100% repair plan.
• Identify repairs to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
• Plan work procedure: follow work order for all operations listed.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical/hydraulic windows, and seat equipment to access damaged area and store parts.
• Repair or weld damaged parts and ensure gaps and fits meet industry standards; reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, blocks, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns, etc.).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before turning vehicle over to the Paint Dept.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Comply with all SOPs, safety rules, and guidelines.
