Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-3 years collision repair experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid Driver's License Required
• Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Successful completion of background check required

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicles to assist collision estimators in assessing damage and creating a 100% repair plan
• Identify repairs needed to minimize supplements and repair time
• Plan work procedures following the work order for all operations
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components to access damaged areas
• Repair body damage by hammering, filling, welding, and replacing parts as needed
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, sander, spray guns, etc.)
• File, grind and sand repaired surfaces before handing vehicle to Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality standards
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Comply with Classic Collision SOPs, safety rules and guidelines
