Job summary

Classic Collision in Atlanta is seeking a collision repair technician to join our team. You will disassemble vehicles, identify necessary repairs, and execute work to industry standards.

You will operate welding and cutting tools, inspect finished work, and ensure safety and quality before vehicles move to the paint department. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of collision repair experience, a valid driver's license, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2–3 years collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Customer-focused attitude and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Successful completion of background check required.
• Demonstrates integrity, accountability and customer service.
• Shows initiative in improving processes and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle to assist estimators and prepare a 100% repair plan.
• Identify repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure following work orders.
• Remove upholstery and access equipment to damaged areas.
• Mend damaged body panels and fit replacements; weld where needed.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, cutting torch, sander, etc.).
• Finish surfaces and hand off to Paint Dept. after repairs.
• Inspect and test drive vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company SOPs.
