Job summary

TAG Auto Group is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee multiple departments in our collision repair center. The role emphasizes profitability, policy adherence, and staff leadership to deliver high-quality body shop work.

You will lead teams across estimators, services, parts, technicians, and maintenance, ensuring safety, training, and performance metrics are met while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in the collision repair industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
• Assumes full responsibility for center profit and loss, including cash control and security procedures.
• Provides leadership and oversight to all center personnel, including hiring, training, coaching, and discipline.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the body shop.
• Ensures KPI awareness and training to meet or exceed targets.
• Maintains relationships with insurance adjusters and customers to drive business.
• Monitors productivity and payroll records; approves final billing for repairs.
