Job summary

Responsibilities include inspecting damage, estimating labor and parts, preparing insurance forms, and drafting repair work orders while maintaining thorough repair records.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in collision repair experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle structures for removing/replacing damaged components.
• Strong negotiation skills and a commitment to servicing the customer.

Responsibilities

• Examines all parts of vehicle that appear to be damaged and require repair, replacement, or repainting.
• Assesses vehicle damage through inspections.
• Estimates the cost of labor and parts to repair damage.
• Prepares insurance forms to show repair cost estimates.
• Communicates to customers the damage, costs, and insurance details in a professional manner.
• Drafts work orders with required repairs and enters them into the system.
• Keeps a record of all repairs in company files.
