Job summary

John Jones Auto Group is seeking a detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to assess vehicle damage, prepare repair estimates, and coordinate with insurers for timely approvals.

You will work with CCC ONE or Mitchell and collaborate with technicians to ensure repairs meet manufacturer procedures and customer expectations.

Strong communication, organization, and ability to manage multiple estimates are essential, as is maintaining accurate records and photos for claims.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Body Shop Estimator or in collision repair preferred.
• Knowledge of collision repair processes, parts, and labor estimating.
• Experience with CCC ONE, Mitchell, or comparable estimating software.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with insurance companies, technicians, and management.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to assess collision damage and determine repairs.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates including labor, parts, materials, and procedures.
• Identify additional damage and prepare supplemental estimates.
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters to obtain approvals.
• Maintain documentation, repair orders, and insurance records.
• Assist in ensuring completed repairs meet quality and customer satisfaction standards.
