Job summary

BALISE AUTO SALES INC is seeking a Collision Appraiser in West Warwick, RI. The role focuses on analyzing vehicle damage, estimating repairs, and preparing insurance forms. You will review costs with the team and maintain open communication with customers and vendors.

Requirements include an appraisal license, 3–5 years in auto physical damage appraisals, and familiarity with insurance processes. I-CAR/CCC pathways are valued, with bilingual abilities a plus.

Qualifications

• Appraisal license is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in handling auto physical damage appraisals.
• Collision Center experience and/or familiarity with the field adjusters/insurance industries.
• CCC Pathways and/or other electronic appraisal formats required.
• I-CAR certification preferred, but not required.
• Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Bi-lingual preferred, but not required.
• High Energy, busy shop.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills are required.

Job Description

• Analyze damage
  • Examine the vehicle for any type of damage to the body, structure, mechanicals, electrical, or interior

Environmental & Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds
• A current valid driver's license and insurability rating is required
