Job summary

Balise Collision Center in Warwick, RI is seeking a Body Repair Technician to perform automotive body repairs and related work in a well-equipped, air-conditioned facility. This full-time role offers strong compensation for experience and a path for certification through factory training.

You will remove, install, and align body components, weld sheet metal, and disassemble/reassemble upholstery and trim to access areas. A current driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of auto body collision repair experience required.
• Experience using frame and measuring equipment.
• ASE Credentials preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs automotive body and related repairs.
• Removes, installs, adjusts, and aligns body components.
• Perform different types of sheet metal welding and metal finishing
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders

• Performs automotive body and related repairs
• Removes, installs, adjusts, and aligns body components
• Perform different types of sheet metal welding and metal finishing

Environmental & Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds
• A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required
• This position may require up to 0-5% travel
