Job summary

Joe Myers Toyota in Houston, TX is seeking a friendly Body Shop Receptionist to support the Collision Center. This full-time role runs Monday–Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with every-other-Saturday work.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, scheduling estimates and repair appointments, and updating customers on repair status. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and experience in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred.
• Automotive dealership or collision center experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
• Schedule body shop estimates, repair appointments, and customer follow-ups.
• Assist customers with repair status updates and general inquiries.
• Open and maintain repair orders accurately.
• Process payments and balance daily receipts.
• Communicate effectively with insurance companies, customers, and body shop staff.
• Maintain customer records and file documentation.
• Perform general clerical duties, including scanning, copying, filing, and data entry.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Provide administrative support to the Body Shop Manager and Estimators as needed.
