Job summary

Group 1 Chevrolet Spring is growing and seeks an experienced Collision Estimator to support a fast-paced, high-volume collision center. The ideal candidate brings strong estimating and insurance coordination skills with a customer-focused approach to delivering high-quality repairs.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, detailing work orders, inspecting vehicles for damage, calculating estimates, handling DRP processes, and communicating repair options clearly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Collision Estimator experience
• Must have current CSI reporting documents
• DRP (Direct Repair Program) Experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Email, Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Valid driver's license in state of employment and a good driving record
• Great attitude with high-energy personality
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Ability to work well in a process driven environment
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on arrival, coordinate and schedule appointments, collect vehicle information
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, insurance companies and co‑workers
• Listen to customer requests and provide a clear explanation on the work order
• Thoroughly inspect vehicles to identify all damage and related issues
• Calculate labor and parts costs and salvage value for each item
• Explain cost effectiveness of repair vs. replacement to customers
• Determine costs for repainting or other customizations as needed
• Complete insurance claim forms with repair/replacement recommendations
• Other duties may be assigned by management
• Demonstrate behaviors aligned with Company Values in all interactions
