Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Muskegon, MI is seeking an Estimator to deliver an exceptional customer experience by accurately assessing vehicle damage, creating detailed estimates, and coordinating repairs with customers and insurance providers throughout the repair process.

The Estimator will play a pivotal role in aligning with the repair team to meet KPIs, ensuring clear communication, and guiding the customer from drop-off to delivery.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Awareness of where to look for answers
• Basic Computer Skills
• Compliance for DRP’s Minimum of 1-year experience
• Must be willing to complete I-CAR Training
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Document and update customer interactions accurately
• Provide timely information and guide customers through the repair process
• Ensure compliance with all insurer requirements and processes
• Adhere to WOW Operating Ways for customer drop-offs and communication
• Communicate customer requests to the team
• Provide positive energy when greeting customers
• Understand required insurance programs and procedures
• Participate in daily production walks and team meetings
