Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical or vocational collision repair training preferred.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in collision repair estimating.
I-CAR or OEM certifications preferred.
Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and vehicle systems.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Inspect damaged vehicles and assess repair needs per industry standards.
Prepare accurate repair estimates using approved estimating systems.
Communicate with customers about repair options, timelines, and insurance processes.
Coordinate with insurance adjusters to obtain approvals and supplements.
Review and adjust repair plans based on supplemental findings.
Collaborate with technicians to assure repair quality and efficiency.
Document vehicle damage with notes and photographs.
Maintain compliance with OEM procedures and dealership policies.
Monitor progress and update customers throughout the repair process.
Ensure invoices and documentation are complete and accurate.
