Job summary

DeVivo Companies is seeking a Collision Center Operations Assistant in Middletown, CT to keep the repair process organized from start to finish. You will welcome customers, manage work orders and estimates, and coordinate with insurers while communicating progress to clients.

Qualifications

• Has prior collision repair or body shop experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience writing estimates or coordinating collision repairs preferred.
• Connecticut Appraiser's License is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with collision estimating software preferred.
• Experience with dealer management systems such as Excede/Procede is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel).
• High school diploma or equivalent; I-CAR/ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide an exceptional service experience.
• Create and manage collision repair work orders and estimates.
• Coordinate with insurance companies throughout the claims process.
• Communicate repair status and updates to customers.
• Schedule repairs and manage daily workflow.
• Maintain accurate repair orders, customer files, and vehicle history.
• Work with technicians to document customer concerns.
• Assist with administrative and office tasks for the Collision Center.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and team members.
