Job summary

DeVivo Companies operates a busy Collision Center in Middletown, CT, and seeks a detail-oriented Operations Assistant who excels at customer service and coordinating repairs with technicians and insurers.

You will manage work orders, estimates, and daily workflow to ensure a smooth repair process while maintaining accurate records and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a collision repair or body shop environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Experience writing estimates or coordinating collision repairs preferred.
• Connecticut Appraiser’s License is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with collision estimating software such as Mitchell/CCC is a plus.

DeVivo Companies is looking for a Collision Center Operations Assistant to join our busy Collision Center in Middletown, CT. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, insurance companies, and technicians while keeping the repair process organized from start to finish.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide an exceptional service experience

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a collision repair or body shop environment


• Excellent customer service and communication skills


• Strong organizational and administrative abilities


• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment


• Experience writing estimates or coordinating collision repairs preferred


• Connecticut Appraiser’s License is a plus, but not required


• Familiarity with Mitchell, CCC, or other collision estimating software preferred


• Experience with dealer management systems such as Excede/Procede is a plus


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel


• High school diploma or equivalent


• I-CAR or ASE certifications are a plus
