Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Michigan seeks a General Manager to lead the collision center, delivering exceptional customer experiences while directing day-to-day operations in line with the WOW Operating Way. You will coach staff, manage budgets, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The role requires proven leadership in a collision repair environment, strong communication, and the ability to meet KPI targets and insurance metrics.

• Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to motivate others utilizing effective coaching tools and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan is executed consistently.
• Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.
• Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.
• Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.
• Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.
• Provide training for all staff as necessary.
• Open and close the facility daily per procedures.
• Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.
• Attend monthly managers meetings and safety sessions.
• Store CSI performance reviews and follow up within 24 hours.
