Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a General Manager to lead the Collision Center’s daily operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will coach staff, ensure safety, and drive KPI targets across sales, labor and expenses.

The role requires leadership in a collision repair environment, post-secondary education, and a focus on quality customer service. Join a team committed to excellence and growth.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in collision repair environment or similar role.
• Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to motivate others with effective coaching and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan is executed consistently.
• Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.
• Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.
• Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.
• Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.
• Monitor all maintenance for shop equipment, including the paint booth.
• Provide training for all staff as necessary.
• Ensure staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code.
• Open and close the facility daily as per procedures.
• Conduct daily production meetings to confirm throughput and delivery dates.
• Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.
• Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings; attend monthly managers meetings.
