Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a General Manager to lead a collision center, delivering exceptional customer experience while ensuring daily operations comply with policies and procedures. The GM will coach teams, drive KPI and insurance metrics, and maintain high professional standards across the team.

The role requires proven leadership in a collision repair setting, strong accuracy, and the ability to manage workloads and safety.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to motivate others using coaching tools and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.
• Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.
• Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.
• Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.
• Monitor all shop equipment maintenance, including the paint booth.
• Provide training for all staff as necessary.
• Ensure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code.
• Open and close the facility daily as per procedures.
• Conduct daily production meetings to confirm throughput and delivery dates.
