Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a General Manager to lead the collision center’s daily operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will drive KPI targets, train staff, manage budgets, and ensure safety and quality standards across all teams.

This leadership role requires proven experience in collision repair, strong communication, and the ability to coach employees to success while maintaining top-tier service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a collision repair environment or similar
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Ability to coach staff toward KPI targets

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently
• Prepare and manage annual and monthly operating budgets
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expenses
• Deliver formal and informal performance reviews
• Monitor payables and receivables for the Collision Center
• Maintain a clean, organized repair facility at all times
• Oversee shop equipment maintenance including the paint booth
• Provide staff training as necessary
• Enforce safety gear and dress code
• Open/close facility daily per procedures
• Lead daily production meetings to confirm throughput and delivery dates
• Manage estimates to ensure labor mix within standards
• Lead and manage all repair facility personnel
• Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings
• Attend training and leadership sessions
• Conduct CSI reviews and follow-up within 24 hours
