Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations of the collision center and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will coach team members, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with policies while driving KPI targets and insurance metrics.

You will supervise staff, coordinate safety and training sessions, and maintain a high standard of professionalism. This role demands strong leadership, communication, and a passion for operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent required.
• Leadership experience in collision repair environment or similar role required.
• Strong attention to detail and client experience focus required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; coaching/motivation skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently.
• Prepare and manage annual and monthly operating budgets for the collision center.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expenses.
• Deliver formal annual and informal monthly performance reviews.
• Monitor A/P and A/R related to the Collision Center.
• Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.
• Oversee maintenance for shop equipment, including the paint booth.
• Provide training for staff as necessary; ensure safety gear compliance.
• Open/close facility daily per procedures; conduct daily production walks.
• Lead and manage repair facility personnel; coordinate monthly safety and staff meetings.
