Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, ensuring speed, quality, and customer excellence in line with our KPIs.

The role requires aligning with team members and acting as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group while maintaining safety and using hand tools, cutting devices, and paint applications as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship is expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair vehicle bodies using tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hammers and pliers.
• Fix dents, realign chassis, and replace damaged sections with parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts, and apply factory or equivalent paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
