Job summary

Park University in Parkville, Missouri seeks a motivated athletics professional to support the Head Coach across varsity and reserve teams. The role spans coaching, recruiting, practice coordination, scheduling and academic monitoring, with involvement in weight room and skill development.

Additional duties may include gameday administration, fundraising, camps and clinics, and transportation coordination for team events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and applicable coaching credentials.
• College coaching and recruiting experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success in playing or coaching at collegiate or higher levels.
• Knowledge of NAIA and Heart of America Athletic Conference rules.
• Proven integrity, high principles and ability to motivate student athletes academically and athletically.
• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Serve in a support role to the Head Coach.
• Assist with all phases of the program including coaching, recruiting, coordinating and organizing practices, scheduling, monitoring academics, weight room, player skill development, and skill evaluation.
• Assist with gameday administration, fundraising, game-related activities, and camps/clinics.
• Acquire certification to transport students to team athletic events.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Director of Athletics.
