Job summary

FieldLevel, Inc. is seeking a part-time volleyball coach to support the Head Coach with recruiting, practice, and game-day operations at the university.

The role involves coordinating position assignments, planning practices, and contributing to team policies. The successful candidate will have collegiate volleyball playing experience, coaching experience, and a strong set of organizational and teaching skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Collegiate volleyball playing experience plus 1 year coaching required.
• Strong organizational, oral, written, and teaching skills required.
• Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations required.
• Post-hire: must pass NCAA certification recruiting test within 30 days.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting activities and responsibilities as assigned by Head Coach.
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of position assignments as directed by Head Coach.
• Plan, organize and execute coaching duties for meetings, practice sessions and competitions.
• Function in game day organization and assignments as prescribed by the Head Coach.
• Evaluate opponents and develop a game plan for student-athlete instruction.
• Attend all staff meetings as scheduled by the Head Coach.
• Assist in the development of team rules and policies.
• Supervise, instruct and direct student-athletes as assigned by Head Coach.
• Support academic guidelines and policies of the university, athletics department and Volleyball program.
• Collaborate with Sports Medicine/Athletic Training, Strength and Conditioning, Equipment, Life Skills, NCAA Compliance, Media Relations etc.
• Assist with administrative functions of the Volleyball program.
• Perform duties with professional conduct, being fiscally responsible and with a commitment to student-athlete well-being.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Head Coach.
