Job summary

Metz Culinary Management is seeking a hands-on Food Service Supervisor for our collegiate dining operation. You will oversee front-of-house dining, supervise staff, ensure cleanliness, safety, and excellent guest service while assisting with catering setups and events.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced campus environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service, hospitality, catering, collegiate dining, or similar environment.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FOH operations, including dining areas and guest-facing spaces.
• Assist with catering setup, service, and breakdown for events.
• Supervise utility team and ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Lead, train, and coach FOH staff to promote performance and teamwork.
