Under supervision, you will provide both academic and non-academic coaching, conduct group workshops, advise on course placement, and coordinate with campus partners to support retention and student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required; at least two years in advising or student services.
• Master's degree preferred; experience in higher education advising is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of academic planning, transfer policies, and career development.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive academic advising and coaching to MATC students.
• Leads group workshops and supports early and ongoing student engagement.
• Monitors progress, analyzes transcripts and course plans to promote retention.
• Collaborates with Admissions, Financial Aid, Career, and faculty to coordinate support.
• Reviews academic plans and guides students toward success milestones.
