Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2027 Design Engineering Intern. You will participate in Airframe Design activities including 3D part design, and work on concept development, preliminary and detail design within an Integrated Product Team environment.

You may assist with manufacturing issue resolution and preparing technical reports and proposals. The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering and non-engineering disciplines to deliver airframe design projects

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program such as Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Basic knowledge with Engineering Software Tools (3D/2D CAD).
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Airframe Design related activities including 3D part design.
• Engage in concept development, preliminary and detail design within an Integrated Product Team (IPT).
• Coordinate with engineering and non-engineering disciplines for design and development.
• Focus on airframe preliminary and detail design projects; assist in manufacturing issue resolution and preparing technical reports and proposals.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $22.66 - $31.67
