Job summary

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control seeks a Summer 2027 Intern in Quality Engineering to assist in quality hardware production, audits, and root-cause analysis. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and ensure compliance with internal standards and customer specs.

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern - Quality Engineering.

In this role, you will

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of quality hardware production including documentation, test reports, inspection records, and process flow.


• Assist in root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action development for non‑conformances identified during testing or production.


• Support the execution of product audits and inspections to verify compliance with internal standards and customer specifications.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive production improvements and deliver results

Must be a US Citizen. This position will require ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college.


• Basic understanding of technical quality concepts.


• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $20.14 - $28.15
