Job summary

UC Santa Cruz is seeking a College Programs Coordinator (CPC) within CHES/DSAS to advance living-learning experiences across two colleges. The role focuses on developing educational programs, traditions, student leadership opportunities, and community engagement initiatives that strengthen college identity.

Under supervision of the Associate Director, you will collaborate with faculty, staff, and campus partners to create integrated student experiences, supervise student staff, manage programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/ training.
• Demonstrated experience planning, implementing and evaluating largescale programs and events.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent record keeping and organizational skills; attention to detail.
• Experience with student leadership development and cultural competency development.
• Ability to supervise student staff and develop budgets with financial stewardship.
• Multicultural, international, and/or social justice programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Leads development, implementation, and assessment of co-curricular experiences across assigned college pair communities.
• Develops and maintains College Model Plans articulating themes, goals, traditions, and engagement strategies.
• Collaborates with faculty, staff, and campus partners to connect curricular and co-curricular learning.
• Supports Living Learning Communities and other educational initiatives to enhance student belonging.
• Identifies opportunities to integrate college themes into year-round student experiences.
• Designs programs using student development theory to foster growth and engagement.
• Advises College Government and supports student leaders in line with educational mission.
• Develops leadership opportunities and oversees diverse college programming portfolios.
• Coordinates elections and student government activities in alignment with policies.
