Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in diverse and multicultural settings.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills and experience in administration and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates development of community, civility and responsibility among residents and supports academic, intellectual, cultural and social development.
• Develops and implements a comprehensive residential education program in conjunction with college staff.
• Serves as primary resource for student residential staff delivering the curriculum and supporting staff development.
• Supervises and advises programming and student groups; conducts program assessment and responsive improvements.
• Coordinates crisis, safety and emergency response, and assists in facilities and dining operations as needed.
• Engages in staff recruitment, training, evaluations and ongoing professional development.
• Manages budget, conducts risk assessment, and enforces university policies within housing contexts.
