Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking Tutors to support Road to and Through College classrooms, providing targeted practice and one-on-one guidance.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, ability to manage student behavior, and a minimum of 48 college credits or two years of relevant instructional experience. Expect 10–20 hours weekly on-site with potential benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: minimum of 48 hours of college credit with a minimum 2.5 GPA OR two years of full-time instructional experience in a K-12 school may be substituted in lieu of the education requirement

Responsibilities

• Facilitate tutoring sessions one-on-one and in small groups to improve student achievement.
• Use a clear behavior management system aligned to school initiatives.
• Provide regular communication with College counseling team/teachers about student progress.
• Commit to 10–20 hours per week on campus and support RTTC programs.
