BWC’s core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state. BWC offers flextime work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex‑time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.
Assist in developing and maintaining ETL pipelines using SQL, Python, and cloud data‑warehouse tools.
Work collaboratively with our data engineers, architects, and analysts to translate business questions into actionable data solutions.
Participate in the design and development of AI/ML solutions, supporting our data scientists with model preparation and evaluation.
Support data modeling activities, including applying normalization and denormalization concepts under the guidance of senior team members.
Perform data cleaning and preprocessing by identifying and resolving data quality concerns, handling missing values, and preparing datasets for modeling and analysis.
Analyze large datasets: clean, transform, and interpret substantial volumes of structured and unstructured data using tools like Python and SQL.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including IT and business units, to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
Communicate insights by creating visualizations and reports to present findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Projected Schedule:
A maximum of 29 hours per week. The schedule is flexible and will fall between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday - Friday.
Must currently be enrolled in an accredited higher education program majoring in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, Software), Economics or Business Analytics
