Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) is seeking a College and Career Pathways Faculty Academic Lead to guide CCR design, implementation, and evaluation, aligning with WIOA and NRS standards. You will lead IET and IELCE initiatives, bridging adult education to postsecondary paths and careers.

The role combines leadership with a teaching load, while partnering with department chairs and faculty to advance curriculum, SLOs, and student success across ESL, IELCE, and related programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required; NCCCS Adult Education Certification or TESOL/K-12 certification preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred in Education, English, Linguistics, or ESL/TESOL; experience with college readiness programs is valued.

Responsabilités

• Provide vision and leadership for College and Career Pathways within the department and college.
• Recruit, hire, and mentor part-time faculty; manage budget and instructional processes.
• Support departmental students and supervise full- and part-time faculty and staff.
• Lead curriculum development, instructional quality, assessment, and student success initiatives across CCR programs.
• Develop bridge programs and college readiness coursework to improve persistence and progression.
