Job summary

Lehigh Carbon Community College is seeking a full-time IELCE Coordinator funded by the Integrated English Language Civics Education (IELCE) grant. The role oversees the IELCE program, recruits students, plans curriculum, tracks data, and provides professional development.

Travel may be required, and instruction of classes is possible as assigned by the Assistant Director of Literacy. The position is contingent upon grant funding and annual renewal.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or appropriate field.
Experience with diverse populations.
Experience in program administration.

Responsibilities

Plan and provide curriculum in accordance with standards and grant guidelines.
Instruct IET and IELCE classes, co-teaching with job training instructors.
Recruit new students and provide state approved assessments and orientation.
Collaborate with staff and community partners on programming activities.
Use the e-data system for data reporting and instructional planning.
Maintain the program website, curriculum map, and lesson plan library.
Provide in-house professional development to staff.
Assist with grant projects and program development.
