Reporting to the Director of Program Engagement and Evaluation, theProgram Performance Technician serves a variety of functionsincluding the setup and maintenance of student records, data entryfor student registration and LEIS, grades, graduates, and contacthours; updating and monitoring Adult High School studenttranscripts; maintaining official transcript documentation andrecords; assisting with course roster pre-audit and processing; andmaintaining confidentiality of student records through establishedprocedures. This position provides complete and accurate LEISreports, assessments, and student retention data for the AdultEducation Program, and administers TABE, CASAS, and other NRS-approved assessments in person and remotely according to NationalReporting System ( NRS ) testing requirements. This positionanalyzes and evaluates data related to student performance andretention and provides their findings to their supervisor.

This position also is responsible for the verification of allattendance records that serve as the basis for accuratepost-testing hours and budgetary FTE, and alerting leadership ofany classes that do not have the required documentation to receiveFTE or be counted for post-testing.

Min Salary
$44,993.26

Mid Salary
$50,617.41 - We offer a competitive salary package that will bedetermined based on the candidate's experience level andqualifications related to the job. Compensation will becommensurate with your level of experience.

Education Required

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, OfficeAdministration, Information Technology, or related field from aninstitutionally accredited college/university or a High SchoolDiploma/ GED and at least four years related experience

Education Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, OfficeAdministration, Information Technology or a related field from ainstitutionally accredited college/university.

Experience Required

  • Three years of related records management experience, includingevidence of experience in the following areas:
  • Thorough knowledge of data entry best practices andprocedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and experiencedeveloping spreadsheets, developing presentations, and usingdatabase software applications (as determined by pre-employmenttesting)
  • Experience reviewing data according to programs andpolicies
  • Experience recognizing, working with, and reporting dataanomalies
  • Experience analyzing, compiling, and reporting data analysesrelated to student performance and/or retention.
  • Recent experience with an enterprise student information system(e.g., Colleague, Advansys, LACES )

Experience Preferred

  • Greater than 3 years experience of related records managementexperience.
  • FERPA & Privacy Training: Documented training orprofessional experience handling Personally IdentifiableInformation ( PII ) and maintaining the confidentiality ofsensitive student records (SSNs, disability status, etc.).
  • Experience working in a “regulated” environment where files aresubject to state or federal audits
  • Experience in an academic setting.
  • Experience with student record management.
  • Direct experience with Advansys or other Title II or WIOA datamanagement programs.
  • Experience working with National Reporting System Testing andPerformance Measures

KSA Required

  • Excellent time management and problem-solving techniques anduse of professional judgment in a complex team environment.
  • Support the Vision and Mission of the College
  • Data Integrity & Ethics: Understanding of data privacy laws( FERPA ) and the secure handling of sensitive student identifiers(SSNs).
  • Ability to foster a team environment, build cross-departmentalrelationships, and mentor subordinate staff.

KSA Preferred

  • Experience using digital imaging software or enterprise contentmanagement systems (like Softdocs, Perceptive Content, orSharePoint) for electronic filing.
  • Experience with Title II Adult Education data
  • Experience using Advansys.
