Job summary

Driveway Finance Corporation is hiring a Collector I in Tigard, Oregon. The role focuses on collecting delinquent accounts ethically and negotiating repayment terms while delivering quality customer service within a hybrid in-office/remote setup.

This position requires familiarity with installment loans and collections regulations, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a corporate environment. Pay is $21/hour with a Monday–Friday schedule and an October start date.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of installment loans and consumer collections.
• Experience in collections and negotiating repayment terms.
• Familiarity with collections regulations and laws.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound collection attempts by phone, mail, and e-mail to recover delinquent accounts.
• Review accounts for extensions, deferments, and due-date changes within authorized limits.
• Provide customer service with strong judgement to resolve discrepancies and disputes.
• Follow up on required insurance coverage and correct deficiencies.
• Meet or exceed call volume and account action targets.
• Assist with other assigned duties as needed.
