Job summary

Wilber Group is seeking an in-person, entry-level Collector for our Newark, Ohio office. This full-time role requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication, with training provided on insurance claims processes.

Base pay starts at $19.00 per hour, with a bilingual premium of $21.00 per hour for Spanish speakers, plus uncapped commissions. New team members typically earn around $1,100 in commissions monthly during the first year.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level in-person role in Newark, OH requiring no prior insurance knowledge.
• We provide training on company procedures and laws as needed.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to customers/debtors regarding filed claims.
• Provide clarity on claims and answer inquiries from customers.
• Process payments via card and ACH accurately.
• Notate conversations and payments in files accurately.
• Negotiate repayment plans to recover assets for clients.
• Learn company software, applicable laws, and industry standards for compliance.
• Maintain a professional presence at the assigned location.

Our Claims Recovery Team is looking to fill an in-person entry level Collector position in our Newark, Ohio office. This position does not require insurance knowledge / experience – we will train you on everything you need to know! You will be part of a team that takes/places calls to reconcile insurance claims. At Wilber, Collectors are able to earn uncapped commissions and includes our special benefit packages. This position requires a person with attention to detail, great at communication and a professional, friendly behavior.This Full-Time collector position starts with a base pay of $19.00 hourly pay ($21.00/hour if bilingual in Spanish) plus uncapped commission.New team members typically earn on average $1,100 in commission each month during their first year, actual commissions may vary per person.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to customers/debtors informing of claim filed against them
• Provide clarity on filed claims and answer any inquiries from customers
• Accurately process payments via card and ACH (electronic check payment)
• Accurately notate files of conversations had and payments received
• Negotiate repayment and financial plans to recover assets for clients
• Learn and apply provided materials on company software, applicable laws and statutes, and industry standards to ensure compliance and optimize recovery.
• Ability to ensure physical presence at assigned location

Education:

• High School diploma or GED required
