Job summary

You will guide daily task allocation, perform audits, and help implement new procedures to enhance team performance and the customer experience while maintaining security and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in auto finance, including 1 year in a collector or similar role.
• Knowledge of collections standards and regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Strong coaching and leadership capabilities to guide associates.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers by phone to negotiate payments and update records.
• Keeps detailed notes of conversations and payment agreements in the collections system.
• Coaches and trains associates to improve performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assists with loss mitigation efforts and supports escalation of complex issues.
• Coordinates daily tasks, monitors workflow, and conducts account audits.
• Analyzes collection data and participates in process improvements.
