Accounts Receivable/Collections Coordinator Miami , FL Contract Sep 23, 2026

Our client, a leading professional services organization, is seeking a Collections Coordinator/Specialist to provide temporary support to its Collections team. This individual will assist with managing outstanding client balances, resolving payment issues, account reconciliation, and collections reporting.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on outstanding client balances and support collection efforts


• Communicate with client contacts and Accounts Payable teams regarding payment status


• Research and resolve invoice, billing, and payment-related issues


• Reconcile client accounts and identify discrepancies


• Maintain accurate collection notes, payment commitments, and account records


• Prepare and update collections reports, payment schedules, and account tracking


• Partner with internal Billing and Finance teams to help resolve issues delaying payment

Qualifications

• Previous collections, accounts receivable, or credit experience


• Strong account reconciliation and reporting skills


• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail


• Professional services experience preferred, but not required


• Experience with Elite 3E or a similar billing/accounting system is a plus


• Must be local to the Miami area


• Must be available to work fully onsite Monday–Friday
